A good trick to get Netherite is to get TNT when you are in the Nether and put it in a big line and ignite it. Once it ignites follow the cave and get the netherite scraps. Once you get the scraps, combine them with gold ingots and either do that multiple times to get a mending table or upgrade your tools.
